I arrived late and had to leave early but I still made it to the hallowed ground formerly known as the ECW Arena now known as the 2300 Arena in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the conclusion of the War of the Worlds tour and the next month of television for Ring of Honor;

*(Spoilers Follow)*

Week 1

1. Top Prospect Tournament Winner Josh Woods defeated David Starr in his first televised Ring of Honor match, Starr if you didn’t know is your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler, and Philly was unanimously behind David Starr but the win goes to Woods.

2. Jay Lethal defeated The Beer City Bruiser by disqualification after “The Last Real Man” Silas Young interfered on his partner’s behalf. After Jay took a beat down, Silas grabbed the mic and proclaimed that Lethal was the golden boy of ROH and he’s had enough of him. Lethal’s former opponent Bobby Fish makes the save.

3. Cody Rhodes defeated Frankie Kazarian via the “Cross Rhodes” or Hero’s Welcome whatever you prefer

4. Women of Honor:

Sumie Sakai and Mandy Leon were scheduled to face Deonna Purrzao and Hania the Huntress but faced Tasha Steel and Bone saw Brooks

Week 2

1. IWGP Tag Team Champions (non-title) War Machine defeated Cheeseburger and Will Ferrera by complete decimation

2. Los Ingorneables de Japon (full faction) defeated ROH 6 Man Tag Champs Bully Ray and The Briscoe’s and Dalton Castle, Tetsuya Naito got the pin on Mark Briscoe for the LIJ victory.

3. Hangman Page (Bullet Club) defeated (sniff sniff) Adam Cole. Philly gave Adam a good send-off then that dastardly Villain had to come out and ruin in it. They announced Adam Cole vs Marty Scurll for later in the show.

4. Women of Honor:

Kelly Klein defeated Jenny Rose while Mandy Leon was doing commentary and she saw Kelly Klein cheat and wanted to set things right but accidently took out Jenny Rose.

Week 3

1. OH MY GOD My faith has been restored, I GOT TO SEE DUSTIN AND GREG LIVE!!!!!!!! IWGP Jr Tag Champs Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero and the debuting CHUCK TAYLOR (SEXY CHUCKIE T, DUSTIN) if you were unsure defeated The ROH Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks and Hangman Page. Sexy Chuckie T was a mystery partner and I lost my bananas when Dustin and Greg did their “BEST FRIENDS” Rocky looked upset, it was legendary. The finish comes when Chuck Taylor hit the “Awful Waffle” on Matt Jackson.

2. Jonathan Gresham & Jay White vs Shane Taylor and Rhett Titus of The Rebellion was Double Disqualification when all their friends got involved setting up an 8 man tag later in the evening.

3. KUSHIDA defeated “The Villain” Marty Scurll to become the NEW Ring of Honor Television Champion!!!! Good tv match

Week 4 This would be the 300th Episode of Ring of Honor Television for Sinclair Broadcasting

1. Silas Young and The Beer City Bruiser defeated Jay Lethal and Bobby Fish, as Silas pinned Lethal.

2. Matt Taven and Vinny Marseglia of The Kingdom defeated The Boys. The Kingdom destroyed the Boys eventually Dalton Castle and The Briscoe’s made the save.

3. Damian “Punishment” Martinez defeated J. Diesel???? It was total destruction, Cheeseburger and Will Ferrera were destroyed too, and Jay White makes the save.

4. ROH Word Champion of the World “Almighty “Christopher Daniels and Hiroshi Tanahashi and Frankie Kazarian defeated Will Osprey, Gedo, and Hiroki Goto (CHAOS) when Daniels pinned Gedo w/ the Best Moonsalt Ever. Post-Match Cody beat down Christopher Daniels.

Former ROH TV champion Marty Scurll defeated Adam Cole with the dreaded chicken wing. Cole fought valiantly and the crowd was w/ him, then The Bucks came down to help Marty and it was too much for my main man Adam Cole. It was great being able to see him one last time live as I presumed incorrectly that Friday’s PPV was his final match. LOTS OF STREAMERS OF THE PANAMA CITY PLAYBOY. The end of an era, yet ANOTHER STAR ROH created that has moved onto greener pastures.
